Frequently Asked Questions

Why make Trinity merch?

We wanted a way for us to take our mission, vision, and values "from the church out" and using something we all need, clothing, seemed a great way to do so! Trinity merch can be a great way to start a conversation about church, Jesus, or one of our core values. It's also a great way to make Trinity, and by extension, the gospel, more visible in our communities.

How does it work?

All items in the Trinity merch shop are made print-on-demand.

Print-on-demand (or POD) is an order fulfillment method where items are printed as soon as an order is made without order minimums.

When you place an order, the items you purchased are printed/embroidered and shipped directly to you once completed.

By using print-on-demand, we can let you choose the design, garment colors, and sizes that you like without having to pre-order in bulk.

This way, only what you order is produced and there's no waste or excess.

Why is there sales tax?

Even though Trinity Fellowship is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the state of Michigan requires that we collect sales tax on items that we sell in this manner.

Is Trinity making a profit off merchandise?

No. The retail price in the shop reflects the cost of the printed item, plus a small markup to cover just the payment processing and shop hosting fees.

The goal of the merch shop will be to break even.
